In this role, the candidate is expected to do language edits on the JDA University courses written by the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Instructional Designers (ID) and ensure that these courses adhere to the JDA University style guidelines. She/he should be a smart learner and adaptable. Much work is expected to be done without direct supervision, so it is also mandatory that the candidate is mature, self-motivated, and accountable. Primary responsibilities:
Editing content for clarity and ensuring that they adhere to different global English standards and the JDA University Style Guidelines
Responsible for editing and re-writing the training documents created by IDs and SMEs
Reviewing and editing content to utilize a maximum of reusability
Ensuring content consistency/quality regarding the guidelines and proofreading the training documents for spelling, grammatical errors, punctuations.
Thorough understanding of the editing process (especially for the technical content)
Tracking and reporting language related issues for the ID team
Performing Quality Control checks and tabulating feedback
Sharing tips and best practices with the IDs to train them for language standards
Participating in documenting and improving processes
Participating in the recruitment process by developing test papers /reviewing test papers when applicable.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Extensive experience working with global teams and independently handles expectations.
Ability to work productively in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment
